The BEST HVAC Videos

By Larry Butz - GEA ConsultingGoodman Factory

I'm a strong believer in the saying "A picture is worth a thousand words" which suggests a good video is worth millions. YouTube is the leading source of videos but don't ignore the many other locations including OEM websites (just type in "videos") or companies specializing in training videos.

We at GEA have been increasing our use of videos in recent months for a growing number of new and different needs. Want to see World Class factories and even take a close up tour? Check out the great videos from Goodman and Trane as well as China's H'Stars in the list below. Want to see and understand some of the newer technologies? Check out the Copeland Scroll compressor video showing different types of capacity modulation, or the manufacture and application of microchannel coils by Gunter. Familiar with the new rooftop ice storage systems developed by Ice Energy?...look at their informative video, or quickly show some of the newer manufacturing equipment for HVAC products. All these excellent videos meet my criteria of “a thousand words…”

Following are some of my own “favorites”. I'd like to know which videos you have seen that really impressed you. We may include a "best of the best" HVAC Videos segment to our GEA library. I’m looking forward to seeing what you nominate as your favorites.

Some great videos here. I would like to submit our video that is an introduction to Jackson Systems. We are a small manufacturer of HVAC controls based in Indianapolis.
